Israel invades Lebanon

Yes, a UN checkpoint was hit by an Israeli airstrike. Isreal denies it was on purpose and of course the UN says it was. Duirng the period in which the UN troops were hit, the UN supposedly lost contact with them and asked Israel to stop their attacks. Sounds like UN trickery to cause a cease fire, IMHO. I guess the UN troops who are there didn't do a very good job of making sure Hezbollah was disarmed as they are supposed to be. There are also reports of the Indian UN troops working with Hezbollah against Israel.

I'm not a big UN fan....

Please don't even let me get started on the UN..I believe it is a bigger threat to the US than Islamic Terrorism...but, there are some people who swear by their aid programs...If they only knew..
