I was just trying to make my own vest with an army jacket that I play with, since my camelbak is HUGE when I wear it in games. Anyone else done this? Any pics? Ideas?

walmart sewing shop. Get 1/2 yard of camo patterned material and make a pocket to sew between the shoulderblades...

I tried making one out of Duct Tape, if i had a little more time and patience i could make a nice one that absorbs all the shock

It seems like it would be alot of work for a not-so-great outcome. I don't know if it's worth it. The other vest I thought I might buy was this one:
http://www.specialopspaintball.com/s...&CAT=104201301 If anyone else knows good vests, I need: -(4)140 rd. pod holder -tank holder -hydration pack holder -radio, miscellanous holding pockets I don't really use grenades |

the Intersept Akwapac, two liter hydration, 4 pods, and a extra pouch $90
the Specialops Broadsword, holds 1,100 paintballs, up to 91ci tank, hydration bladder, two pouches for grenades and the such, radio pocket, two utility pockets, $150 (right out of APG magazine)

you wear a camelbak to games? i think it's a tad expensive and not that good for paintball.
but as for the vest, if you want it cheap and don't mind it being a little ghetto you can use some heavy duct tape and tape the insides of the army jacket to your liking. or you could sew some denim/material to the inside of the jacket. or both, depending on how much padding yhou want.

Well cops911 makes the best vests by far. Kind of a confusing site but......they'll make your vest any way you want it. They also have all price ranges. My team just picked up a sponsorship from them and Mo and Robert are awesome guys to work with. My teammate just picked one up similar to the CIA vest you just saw for 108 4 pods and a tank on the back. I think that included the custom name plates and everything. Unfortunately, I wasn't so lucky. Mine came to $350 but the cut it to $240. Mine has every option possible including interlocks to customize and extra pouches along with the poosibility of carrying 15 pods into a game. I also have two 92 CI tank holders, a water pouch, option pouches, padded shoulders, a gun holder, a makk holder, belt loops, custom name patches........and I can't remember the rest of the options. Then again I have to carry enough rockets to feed the rocket launcher and my freestyle with paint and air.........I'm now a mobile artillery mech with the night vision, throat mics and special listening devices
