how would i go about opening an online store (do i order products before or after they have been ordered, what is teh legal stuff that goes along with it, how/what program do i use to sell merchandise, and do you need a bussiness liscense for online stores?

You do need a business lisence here in the states, but looking at your username, you might be in Canada, and in that case, I'm not sure on the laws there.
