i bought the empire twist barrel..14" rifled .. its gloss black but with allitle scuff and paint it matches. i was very impressed. i was hitting the bottom of a beer can at 40 yards.

dude, go with the smartparts linear 16". its a great barrel. not too good at self cleaning but best bang for the buck!

WAZUP guys.... i had a similar problem i can,t decide between 2 barrels a smartparts progressive or a empire twister...

this thread is a over a year old. but out of the two barrels you said i would have to say the twister however i like cp and j&j

J&J ceramic can't treat you wrong. I also got a Empire 7 piece barrel kit on ebay for the price range you are looking for - gotta be patient in looking for a deal on those.
