Aluminum or Steel

I have been looking around at PMI HPA Tanks 72/3000, and some sites say that the tank is made of steel and some say that the same tank is made of aluminum, which one is right or are there actually two different types of tanks

same tank, i think its made of aluminum, idk i have one, but its a steel one...i think they used to be made of steel, idk tehre heavy tho

It's aluminum.. If they made a steel tank that big it would weigh 10 pounds, not 4 pounds..

Most people just say "steel", because they think it means the same thing as "metal", When really, It does NOT..

i have a 72/3000 steel and its not 4 pounds. it is closer to 7 pounds. i need a CF tank.

yeah aluminum tanks are pretty heavy
you might not think 4 lbs is heavy but hold it with an outstreched arm

your better off spending the extra dollar to get a 68/3000 carbon fiber
or a 45/4500 CF, or 68/4500 tank

someone around here has a 114/4500 tank

not an extra edollar more like an extra fifty dolalrs besides already got the 72 3000 and it sfine, great for conditioning so when i have a light tank for like my tourn i can freaking move quick as hell
