humm, tracking down anything for the MR2 is very hard. im looking for an expansion air chamber not the AK47, its has too much of a curve to it.. anyone know if there is one that looks more like the clip from the G36? i think the M16 style would work, but havent found one for the MR2.

i dont know about the rest,, if i get a replica G36 i might be able to do a series of molds, and marry the stock pieces to the replica gun, to create the look i want with the stock mounting points remaining the same. but thats alot of work and money for molds..

Here are some pics, I'm holding the gun in all of them and it's stock in all of them. I have a new hopper, barrel, remote and tank on the way. Ordered 'em off of Actionvillage.com about two nights ago. I want to build this gun for sniping, I'll pick up another one for faster pace scenarios and I have an Ion for speedball. MR2's my favorite gun, I just really dig milsim. Anyway!
That's a 1 day ghillie I made, it's not finished in the pictures, the hood is a lot lower now and the entire top is just... bushier. I added a ton more jute string to it, all olive green, it's a good color here in most Miami, FL terrain.

Well, the gun is all ghillied out too now, along with the hopper. Thinking of getting a Qloader but I hear it's a real *****. We'll see how that goes.

Q-loader is actually amazing from what I've heard, Im gonna try to get one soon (if only i could get a call from the job i applied for a week ago...) but the only problem is its spendy.

I agree nice ghillie, What barrel did you pick up? I have 2 Q-loaders both 500RND kits and they both are great. The Q-loader is a great loader. The onlything that takes adapting is switching the pods (it always seems to happen when you least want it to) with a normal hopper you can top up at the end of every skirmish not with the Q-loader so either you are switching out pods that arent compleatly empty or you are going to be changing them with alot of people shooting at you. Still great loader.

I was going to wait until my air-thru stock setup was done, but here's how she looks for now.



14 inch J&J ceramic barrel
3 o-ring PMI bolt
Q loaded (homemade rail mount)
Leapers 7 inch CQB red/green dot sight
MR flux grips
Special Ops Commando stock
Homemade front iron sight
Homemade foregrip (with fake double 'over-under' barrel)
Homemade mounted tac-light

Working on another foregrip that replaces the vertical grip, and extends halfway up the barrel (like a rifle grip, there's a small pic of it in an M16 x-chamber thread somewhere on here) all I need is a magazine or an airsoft magazine and it should look pretty killer.
Can't wait to get the air-thru setup done.

whoa thats sweet, it looks kinda like a modern version of a tommy gun with that foregrip. That or it sorta looks like a shotty. I like dude, thats cool, its great to see so many people making homemade mods and in the end their MR2s look way cooler than any other tricked out A-5.
