HELP my Halo is SLOW!!

OK I need some Vet help.

My Halo is not feeding at its potential. I have a Victory Board and with it set to setting 6 (35bps) I am only getting about 16bps on the gun. I had my Ion Video Goldwaved on Ionowners.com by 2 different people and both came up with the same numbers. I have a Virtue board so it is uncapped. Shouldn't it be shooting faster than 16bps?

I am using brand new batteries in the loader and the drive cone is pre-wound. Any ideas???

Mabey the plastic gears on your halo are wearing down... take it apart and look at them... That would deff casue for slowing down of you halo.

I have heard that Victory boards are not very much faster than the stock boards.. Even though the descriptions say 25-35 BPS.. That is a load of crap..

Viewloader did the same thing with the Z-board for the Egg.. They said 23 BPS, but really it was only 18-19 BPS..

It could be your gears though.. I have a stock Halo B with Rip and I set my ION at PSP Ramping to 20 BPS.. I shot it and NO skips.. It sounded like 20 also, maybe 18, but 18 was the slowest it would have been..

you might wanna buy a speedwheel or a new gear if you can find one... if you cant find anything thats not just a gear you may need to buy a new feed assembly but now that its NPS made the chance of you getting any support is rare...

Um, is that full auto or semi? If its semi...it might just be your fingers. I've never really liked Halos. They've always been slow or jam like crazy for me. Reloader Bs have never jammed and always fed faster for me. You'd think the same basic design would feed similar, but not in my case.

hey I had the same problem with my stock board and it was the gears so I went out and bought the new aluminum cone it cane with new gears and a new improved bearing and I am not having any problems with it now.

I second this. I always had problems with Halos for the same exact reasons and wondered the same thing. Even at the reball field, everyone with Halos were jamming up like crazy, but my friend and I never jammed once with our reloaders....weird.

A couple kids out here bought halos, but when they had problems, we suggested the Reloader B upgrade kit. They bought them (just a board, plate and jewels for the side which fit pretty well, not quite perfectly, but close enough) and now they work like a dream.

meh... cheetah>reloader>v35 spend 50 for something a little better or 80 for something alot better, but it is probibly the gears all worn and stuff. they used to sell the gears everywhere... but i guess NPS doesnt like making things easy for people cuz i cant find them anymore.

I think thats just the housing, not the actual gears.
