Post this in the Fenix ACS section, IIRC the Fenix and the MR2 don't have the same grip frames.

If the company says the frame is capped at 13 bps, then the fastest it can ever go is 13 bps. They don't lie about that stuff. I don't know what the cap is on the MR2, but I think the Fenix has a 14 bps cap, so it won't go faster without a new board in it.

However, I think this was discussed a long time ago on the old forum - full auto for some reason doesn't cap the board - it's maybe a ball or two slower than the cap. There was a reason, but I don't remember why.

I'd like to hear how you know "for a fact" the MR2 goes faster. Just wondering, is all.

The MR2 has a 25 bps cap (or somwhere around there, not less than 20) but auto never goes as fast as the cap, my brothers 21 bps capped mongoose board goes ~13 on auto from the sound of it.

It's very difficult to tell by sound how fast your marker shoots - next to impossible actually. You can guesstimate, but that's about it. Dang - I wish I had copied that site that let you hear how fast a marker shoots at different speeds. I found I really only steadily shot around 14-15 bps.

However, I think the best way to really check how fast it goes is gold wave it.

A little bit more difficult way of testing is to load your loader with a specific number of balls - say 200 - then have a buddy time you for like 10 seconds. At the end of 10 seconds count how many balls you have left in your loader. If you shot 50 balls in those 10 seconds, divide it 50 by 10 and you would have shot 5 bps. If you shot 100 of those balls, then you shot 10 bps and so on.

I didn't know how fast the electronics were on the MR series. I'm surprised they set it in the 20's. Just seems not quite Kingmanlike...

I have a chronograph that can measure BPS, once I FIX MY MR2'S CHOPPING PROBLEMS I shall attempt to find what kind of BPS Full Auto gives me.
