sanding down vlocity.

i want to sand down vlocity's tube because its little bit too high... what kind of sander should i use? i dont think i can cut it off because the tube might crack... let me know guys. thanks!

Use a dremel with a cut off wheel... It should not crack. Just be careful.

or a hack saw. Mount the loader into the feedneck and use a sharpie to draw around th4e neck so you have a nice, clean line to cut on.

Yea, I have cut a couple feed necks on different hoppers and I say use a hacksaw and the method that druid explained..

yep .. hacksaw method will work .. but i'd probably use a file after to smoothen out rough edges ... i hate em ..

on my egg, i used a hoseclamp on where i wanted the cut and then went nuts with the grinder, clamp is good for a guide, quick touch up with a file on the edges after. total time about 1 minute

Propane Torch and a Steel rod about .5cm in diameter.....

Draw a line.... Light torch... Put on heat resistant gloves... Heat rod until it turns red then quickly Place on the line and watch the magic.... File off any bulges in the plastic....

Perfectly clean heat cut...

Or you could use a sander with 150 Grit sandpaper and sand away.

i used a small hand saw which i found it in my garage and it sure did its job but its not a stright line... now i need to sand sand sand away~~ anyways, is it possible to get new fewneck tube from viewloader for my vlocity?? just incase i cut my tube too short.

for the vlocity?.... uh i dont think itll be possible for awhile especailly if its a 3 piece design like the halo's
