Get the new progresive (06). But if you can't get that one, the teardrop is better than the old progressive.

Also, they're practically the same barrel, so if you like how one looks more, get that one, though I beleive the new Progressive has a teflon coating so it can shoot through shops better.

If you're looking at SP barrels, I'd go with the All American. Awesome barrel....but I've never really cared for those two you listed.

I have a teardrop on my MR1. Shoots darts. I love it, But it also has a bit to do with your type of paint. I use Eliminator paintballs which are perfectly matched to the teardrop.

Good luck.

I completely agree. If you're just looking for a good, inexpensive barrel, get the J&J ceramic. It's a great barrel and it has a matt black finish that will match your MR1 perfectly as well -

so i took my gun into the shop to get a new hopper and test it.. and looking to get a new barrel. looking at the j&j cermaic and they didnt have anything over 12'' well the kid was like i run a MR2 with this empire twister barrel and its deadly accurate. i was like w/e. so we put it on my gun and shot about 50 rounds through it and at 50 yards you could paint a paper plate. anyone else have or use this barrel before i buy it and there is something that im missing?
