Non vision shockers are nothing but problems, if you expect to shoot a shocker with out eyes you are gonna run into chop city.

You can go non vision, with a fast loader, and save your money for an upgrade board and vision later. Vision's gonna cost about 40.00 (eye, ribbon, eye cover and eye screw) - aftermarket board can run anywhere from 50 used to 300 (cheater Virtue Speedy II board.) Lots of people (like me) bought non vision shockers and upgrade to vision later for cheaper than it was to buy vision. But, that was before vision shockers came down in price. If you can find a vision shocker for pretty cheap, that might be the way to go.

But it all comes down to preference. The PM5 is about the same range as the Shocker with vision, and the tank sizes are all about the same price, differing only in price range by brand. I personally like 68/45's as they feel right to me, but some people like Stubby's (72/45's) and some like 45/45's. It all depends on what the person likes.IMO, go out to your local shop/field and see about shooting the Shocker and the PM5 and see which you like better, as well as a tank.

Yep get the vision.... i love eyes and will probibly never buy another blind gun unless its a older angel....
Its worth the extra dollars to have a gun that has alot less chance of chopping...

The Vision Shockers are pretty cheap now, so it would really not be too much more than the non-vision model. I would say do what BigRed suggested. Go to a field that rents high end guns and try it out.
As for the tank... 68/45 will do you well. I have a 68/45 and a 45/45. Depending how long I play and how far I am from air determines what tank to use. HacKeR
