it would but ... it's WAY expensive ....

I'd say go for the palmers reg for that price ... just get an adapter for it to fit ..... If you wanta spend even less go for the torp ... great reg

Do not buy an expansion chamber. With a regulator you'll have better consistency. More than you could ever get with an expansion chamber. Like mentioned above, Palmers is great when in use with co2. Even if you wanted to get that for the Milsim look, thats still pretty pricey for an expansion chamber put inside a mag.

I would mount a reg. That expansion chamber will not fir the MR1 with out an adapter. Lapco makes a Spyder VA that works very well.

Because I mounted one on my MR1. The MR1 does not have a vertcal adapter or vertical ASA. The way the MR1 is set up I do not know if you can use as vertical adapter (Assault block style). Lapco make a vertical ASA adapter specificaly for Spyders.

It will depnd on the direction you want to go. If you want appearance leave it like it is or try mount one of the expansion chambers that looks like a magazine. If you want performance then you want to go with a reg. My MR1is fully functional and reliable at 400PSI. Not exactly LP but still half of the designed operating pressure. More shots out of the tanks and more consistant shots means more to me than does it look Milsim but that is my preference yours may vary.
