How loud is the MR1

I have read it a lot of reviews at pbreview.com that teh MR1 is loud. How much louder is it than the 98 or a5 out of the box and does an after market barrel quit it down?

Depends on several factors if modded mine is pretty quiet. Stock they are no louder than any other Spyder and definately not louder than any stock Tippman. Tippmans are the SUVs of the marker world. Big clunky and suck allot of gas.

Spyders and Tippmanns are around the same noise level, with a decent barrel, spyders will be somewhat quieter, but LP gives crazy low noise levels.

My friends MR1 makes little sound if any. Just as if you were firing off any other Spyder.

The barrel is the only upgrade I'd like for him to add. It's a hawt baby that needs nice care.

I think the noise is the same volume as a Tippman 98C, but I like the tone of the MR1 better. The 98C makes a "clang" noise when it fires that I don't like. The MR1 is more of a loud "pop".

MR1 isnt that loud compared to many guns but with Compressed holy cow its quieter then also

I would say its as loud as the 98c but with a good barrel it will quit it down

When I was out at a vietnam tournament yesterday I snuck up the long grass on my stomach while this sgt. was shooting at another man and I stood up an just kneeled so he could barely see me shot a couple then I was standing the guy did'nt even no what hit him because he could'nt hear where my rounds were being fired from,

This gun , no A-5 or 98 can compare to. Totally silent.

it all depends on whether u got cpa or C02, compressed air is louder...not like it matters
