Laptop cursors

simple question...when you use laptops without a mouse, do you use the touchpad or the knob? ive had to use laptops at school the past week, and it seems as though most people like the touchpad more. i personally prefer the knob because it feels more responsive, and people think im weird.

mine doesnt have the knob thingy. but ive used one with the knob and i prefer the touch pad.

Touch pad. I love moving my finger along the side for scrolling, or the bottom, or the top to go back on webpages. I just need to clear off my desk and get a mouse to play games.

yeah ... i hate both ... so hard to control .... and for the touchpad if you don't have your hands in the right position you'll get screwed when your word processing something .. (wrist hits touchpad, goes to center of paper... typing in nowhere land)

The knobs are super sensitive .. and if you go pull down too fast it's like whow WTFM !!??!!
I just prefer the mouse in the USB port, or serial port if you don't have the newer mouse ...

You can turn the sensor on the touchpad off so when you type, if you hit it, it won't do anything except move the cursor.

And I use a mouse, all the time, never the touch pad. so

I voted touchpad, but in actuality I use both. It really depends on what i am doing and on what laptop.

Yea....I voted knob but I use the touchpad at times....
When will we be able to think the cursor around?
