Question Questions About Pilot

I have a couple of questions about my Pilot.
1.I have adjusted the trigger really close but after about 5 shots it either chops paint or the bolt gets stuck about halfway up.how can i fix this?
2.im looking into getting a new reg. and was wondering if the ones kingman sells are good or i heard the bob long ones will fit spyders which are better for hpa?
3.I have one of the aluminum venturi bolts and it is getting scratched on top and i was wondering if getting one of the white acs bolts would fix my first problem or make my accuracy better?
?????????????????????????????????????????????????? ????????????????????????

1. Ok well man. that should be a simple problem with your bolt not being lubed enough, or at all.
2. I personaly have not used a kingman reg but i would suggest a CP reg if your gunna put it on a spyder. Becasue if your not going to run a lower preasure spyder then the 0-600 psi (the preasure range for the Bob Long Torp) is going to do you nothing but harm. The CP reg has a range of 0-900 psi much smarter for spyder use.
3. Any bolt you will buy will be better then the Stock bolt in the regular pilots. If you do choose to buy the ACS bolt then You will have to break it in.

I think chubbss is saying that the torp, being a lower pressure than the CP is going to cause recocking problems on a stock marker...but I must disagree. I put a Torp and assault block on an otherwise stock Sonix and it gets 250-300 psi with no recocking issues at all. Ask Bigred...it's his now

1. That isnt a trigger problem. Sounds like a blowback problem or a cheap paint problem. Only way to fix that is to buy a loader that is force fed (Halo B) or to make the chopping problem better, try buying an ACS bolt. Make sure you break it in with 1000 shots by putting a squeegie in the feedneck and just firing.

2.The Bob Long Torp is the best reg for Spyders, in my opinion, because they have the capability to handle CO2 and HPA and be consistent with both. The price is also very friendly.

3. Bolt probably wont make accuracy better, you need an upgraded barrel for that. But any bolt is better than stock.

I must disagree that any bolt is better than stock. As Druid said, with polished internals, Assault Block, and Torp, I am getting my pressure in the low 200psi range. So just polish yours, and with the money you saved get yourself a new barrel!

just keep the gun stock and spend your money on an HPA tank or a new loader.
