I was wondering if there is a mod available to put a butt stock such as the kind found on mr1/mr2 on a pilot acs. i've looked all over a few different forums on this site and can't find anything on this. So if anybody has some info on this it would be much appreciated.

just get one of those things that you stick on the end of your co2 .. should work good enough .... or get something thats foam/rubbery thats adhesive on the other side ... tank shouldn't move anymore ...

I only posted the ones similiar ti the MR series 'cause that's what he'd mentioned. But that's a good unit too, more like an M4A1, AR-15, or M-16 stock.

yeah sorry about the confusion on that let me rephrase. I was just using the mr's as an example of guns that had butt stocks so you guys knew what i was talking about. im new to this stuff and the mr's are the first ive found that had them. But yeah basically any decent buttstocks that fit the pilot acs is what im lookin for.
also you said it replaced the velocity bolt plug. but the acs has a 2 piece cover that also covers the acs bolt hole. that one just looked like it covered the velocity bolt hole only. or do you just pull the velocity bolt itself out and screw in the buttstock? i like the ones you showed me that attach to the drop forward brace. I'm just curious about clearance as im probly gonna be using a standard big sized co2 bottle for a while. does it attach underneath the drop forward, or does it sandwich between the drop forward and trigger handle. also i saw one other style on some generic looking tac-5 (i think that was the company) recon gun. you pull the quick disconnect pin, and it slides on the back. comes with a longer disconnect pin cuz the stock one wont reach all the way through with the buttstock on. You guys seen any of this style around? |

The silver piece that has the velocity adjuster on it comes out, and that goes in its place, if you look closely you can see the groove where the quick strip pin will hold it in place. Doesn't seem too sturdy, but it should get the job done.

what i meant was if you look at the back cap their talking about in the above thread. it covers both holes in the back of the gun. so your saying you just take the bolt itself out of the back cap and put the buttstock in its place?, cuz it doesnt appear to have a piece to cover the striker bolt hole. |
