Default Cleaning the Halo and a question

****.
I just got some c02 not even 2 hours ago
i brought it home to see if my marker will work

I put on my barrell then my HaloB with Brass eagle Monster blue balls then i put on the co2 and went outside to test my marker

Not even 20 balls into the testing a chop went off then another then another
now i am pissed off
i can figure what made the chops happen and i need to clean my loader severely
the entire hopper is covered with paint

i do have a manual on how to dissassemble the hopper but im too afraid
im scared that if i dissassemble it ill **** it up

so now here comes the questions

1) how do i clean the HaloB w/ rip drive properly
2)any suggestions on why the chops happened

I just have a stock 05 Electra ACS with a shocktech bolt
cant figure out which bolt

ps if the chopping problem is the bolt should i buy a derlin anti-chop bolt cause the ******* who sold me my marker didnt give me a bolt

Chops probably happened from double feeds for your dents couldnet handle the force feed of the halo. Try some new dents and let us know.

Bob's 2nd link is for how to put it back together, so do that backwards to take it apart.

I believe TacTown is correct about the detents. When they are not doing their job properly and the ball moves in the slightest with the ball stack under the pressure of a force-feed hopper, then the next ball in the line will slightly protrude into the breech, and when you fire the marker the bolt will chop off the bottom of that ball so it splatters paint everywhere. And since this height is chopped off the ball, the marker chops the next ball and the next ball and the next ball until the problem is rectified.

Try tightening your ball detent; not too tight or else it will crack though!
