my friend's dye grips don't fit, but i just made a custom covering for mine:
just find some fabric that's soft and thin(i used camo denim, but thin leather works as well), make a template by tracing the grip panel on paper(you'll have to enlarge it by about 5mm or 1/4" all the way around for the overlap), lay the fabric down and cut it. after you've got it cut, take some sort of powerful adhesive(i used carpet tape, you can use super glue, gorilla glue, or anything) and glue one one of the long sides. next, glue one of the short sides. now, take the free corner and stretch the fabric over the grip panel, to make sure you have enough fabric to cover the whole grip and glue it on both sides. after you know you have enough, stretch the fabric over the panel and glue on the other long side, then stretch and glue on the last short side. screw the panel tightly onto the frame, and let it dry. mine has held up for some time now, without moving at all, and it's actually a lot more comfortable than just the stock panel alone. i hope i helped. |

You can use the mechanical frame from another Spyder. The grips are one of the few gripes I have about the MR1. I am not sure what they are made of but mine started peeling the first day of use.

There's always the Hogue Handall grips at your local firearms stores for around $8 -
