i just bought this the other day... $8! i couldn't pass it up, it was on our local pb stores forum auction (similar to ebay) starting at $7 and i won it for $8.

i said i'd probably never own any "compact" style Spyder, but then again i never thought i would get one for that cheap. plus it's fatty!

it wasn't in terrible shape, but it didn't shoot (no striker o-ring) and was missing some pieces, one being a barrel. but after a complete breakdown and bath, filter removal and some microline replacement, it didn't turn out half bad for a marker i'm never going to use... lol!

and if anyone knows what kind (brand) of expansion chamber this is, fill me in just for knowledge sake.

i was able to lend it out over the weekend and it worked like a charm! i didn't expect otherwise though.

i've also got a line on a Shutter for $15 or so, anno is worn and needs some good tlc, but i can take care of that for cheap. stay tuned to the picture pages for more info.

i guess i was wrong... i did end up using it! and look how happy i am!!!

i just came off a game where i jumped in, 3 vs. 2, almost out of air and no paint on my back except what was in the hopper and proceded to shoot both my tourny teammates (on the opposite team at the time) three times each. their Shocker and E-Orracle got limp after that. even though they both wiped because they thought it was unfair that i included myself without invitation (right before the start of the game), i had a blast! eventually, i got shot.



i should've hooked up my Reloader B or taken my Revvy from my girlfriend because i outshot it (VL200) a few times, but what sense would it make to use a hopper that cost more than your 'gun (although i think the VL200 was about $15 back in 1997).
