I have an old spyder SE and for some reason I can't get the stupid thing to stop acting like the tank is out of air. I started by changing the hammer ring, then the bolt rings. After everything was said and done I wound up taring the whole gun apart changed every o-ring on the dumb thing and I even tried a different hammer. I tried different springs, a different bolt and of course a different tank. Could there possibly be something in the trigger? I had to change the trigger awhile ago, it's off of a TL but worked great for a couple of months. I'm out of ideas. If someone could please help.

Believe me I tried it with more than 1 tank and all the tanks worked on other guns, but I understand where you are coming from. Sometimes the most obvious is the answer.

Do those old things have regs? If so make sure it is turned up.
