Default UPDATE: project L.P

took my gun out to the field yesterday hopeing i'll get a good result BUT no... gun was chopping ball after another... took it apart clean it out, 2 shots and chop again... i can even see the ball rolling out of the barrel because it went out like 2 feet my gun recock below 300psi but i couldnt test fps due to chopping madness. here is my gun setup right now.
imagine.04
acs bolt
12" all american
maddman rocket valve (no modification yet)
dh titanium striker
32degrees spring kit (weak for main)
CIP assualt block
CP regulator
[cp drop, cp on/off, pe 48/3000, vl revolution w/x-board, trinity feedneck, 50g switch, sweetspot trigger w/ magnet job done]

i think i really need to get new bolt, acs bolt isnt working well with my lp setup. also, the feeling of blowback was about the same as when my gun was stock. anyone had this problem with lp gun?? hopeing to get some kind of help.

thanks in advance.

LP setups + ACS bolts = normally a disaster.

Mod a stock bolt, get a lightening bolt, bluebolt or a sunbear bolt.

QFT

look for a bolt with O-Rings.
Hint....IPS sunbear bolt rocks...

stock marker at HP = small burst of air @ HP

If u can walk the trigger fast, and goin LP = more volume of air , u need to eliminate blowby.
or otherwise drill plenty of holes at the bottom of your feedneck...

Have you broken the bolt in yet? Internal spring needs to be broken in before you'll get the full benifit of the bolt if that's possible -

Or theoretically, you could if your decent with tools create oring slots in the bolt and then put o-rings into it. Should solve blowby air, and still gives you most of the lower recoil benefit of a delrin bolt.

On a note, if you thought about getting the blue bolt by the slightest chance, don't other, the ACS bolt is acctually higher flowing than the blue bolt.

Blue bolt doesn't even exist. It was a swelled failure -

i did dry fire a full tank while working on the reg. anyways, before my LP setup i had aluminum ACS bolt and i never had any problem. maybe i need to do some more dryfire to get the valve and spring kit working.

If you're refering to my spring comment, I meant the spring in the bolt needs to be broken in. Stick a swab in the feednack and shoot it about 500+ times to break it in and see if that helps negate the choppage any -
