I wanted to know what is a Shim? or what part of the Marker its in? I show a Spyder Shim Kit to raise or lower your velocity.

The link doesn't work for me. But basically a shim kit is basically just a set of striker spring guides that are thicker or thinner than the normal spring guides. This makes the striker spring more compressed or allows the more wiggle room for the spring if using a thinner than stock shim. By doing so increases or decreases the velocity of the marker because the striker is able to hit the valve pin harder or softer to allow more or less gas to pass through. If you are looking to adjust your velocity and you are not satisfied with what you have now I would suggest using a spring kit instead of shims.
