![]() I have a Spyder Pilot 09 that I just got and I have a problem with it. Specifically the problem is the bolt, the bolt pin that is attached to the striker is slamming against the back of the rail that it slides in. This is causing the soft aluminum to bulge up and it is making it increasingly harder to remove or insert the bolt without severely scratching it up. If I can prevent this from happening again then I plan to buy this new bolt; http://www.sundragonpps.com/catalog/...47/7582909.htm to replace the current one that's all scratched.
I'd like to know if this is a common problem and if I can fix it easily or if I should be calling Kingman for a replacement. Thanks ![]() |

![]() yeah that is strange. You do still have the striker buffer in it right? But this is a first I have heard a problem like this. See if your buffer is still there.

![]() Is the striker buffer a washer like thing that goes on the striker spring?

![]() its a fairly thick black (some are clear) rubber circle that goes between the back of the striker and the velocity adjuster there is a hole in it for the spring to go through.

![]() This sounds similar to what is going on with my son's brand new Electra. The pin has deformed from striking against the back of the gun and now we cannot remove the bolt at all. Was it something we did? The gun has only fired about 20 rounds and has never been disasembled.
thanks ntk |
