I know what you mean but yes...it's black anno. I've been chatting with some anodizers, trying to see if I can get my Family Tartan put on the surface and while they say it's possible...it's not going to have "clean" edges between colors and is going to be hugely expensive. Poop :P

Yeah, I've thought about that too. I've also considered other laser schemes as well.

I really love some of the acid wash models I've seen....red/black, green/black and tan/black that's kind of a 'swirl' - perhaps I'll settle on one of those instead...
