Camera Question...

I was shooting in RAW the other day and I tried to upload my pictures to Window Media Player and it wont let me edit my pictures or post them on Facebook or anything like that. Any idea on how I can either change the quality from the computer through Windows Media Player?

You need a RAW viewer/editor. Windows doesn't know what to do with the files, mac on the other hand has built in software for it.

Did you buy it new?

You should of got Canon software disc. On the disc there is a program called Canon Digital Photo Professional, use it to view photos, make adjustments and convert to jpeg.

If you want something even better get Adobe lightroom. You can get a 30day free trail from adobe.com

Meh.. gimp is a little on the gimpy side for me.

Lightroom is definitely my top choice for photo management/editing. I prefer it over lightzone, aperture and bibble. Lightzone has some pretty nifty features though, I wish it could integrate better with lightroom as it doesn't do any sort of photo management.
