In the "club"...
So I started having trouble breathing yesterday morning, little bit of chest pain, lots of chest pressure. I knew what it was, but was hoping I wasn't right and it would go away. I went and installed a ceiling fan and some window covers for a friend. Got home still was having trouble, so I did a breathing treatment, which didn't help. So I went to the urgent care for a chest xray, I didn't want to go to the hospital because my doctor likes to admit me whenever he gets me there. My intuition was right, left side pneumothorax (collapsed lung). So, went to the ER, where they immediately placed a chest tube, not fun a all. So of course they admitted me, however they put me on a deloted drip, so I've been buzzing all day.

So the hole in my lung that caused the collapse still hasn't healed, so they are gonna do surgery to repair it. Going to the OR in a few minutes here, I'll let you guys know how things go when I come out of anesthesia.

get feeling better. there is a 21 year old guy in my town with CF in february he almost died and he's on oxygen now but needs a double lung transplant
