AV now has lower free shipping
dont know where the good deals thread went, but, i just saw that AV has free economy shipping on all orders over $79 (drop from $100) and you can upgrade from economy to UPS ground for $5

Economy shipping is not that great. Its UBER slow. I'd rather pay $5 and get UPS ground, and wait for that, rather than the free Economy.

I used to get stuff from AV in two days. I tried the Economy shipping and it took five days.

With the money they make, they can afford free ground shipping. Pods, they cost next to nothing for AV to purchase. With the ammount they buy in bulk, I'm sure you could consider them free anyways.
With the offering a tank. I'm sure the tanks were deadstock they were having trouble moving, and just wanted to get out of the warehouse. Also, the price of the G7's for example probably dropped for them, so they were gonna make more off of them, so they add in the tank for free, make the same profit as before, and get rid of deadstock. Two birds with one stone, and you make the customer happy.
