The 15 over the 14 you have spec'd out. i3 is more power efficient and powerful.

for some reason dell has the 14 originally priced at $770 and the 15 at $640 but with the discount the 14 is $10 cheaper

It's easier/cheaper to build a bigger laptop.. amusingly. You'll probably see 17" for even less than the 15

The dual core is outdated now and not worth your money even for the simplest everyday computer.
