Phhh plasma is better then LCD, even at 120hz LCD can be rather laggy in high action scenes plus plasma displays true black instead of grey.

if you have a spare room to turn into a movie theater maybe. plus itll be a pain to replace the tubes in a few years.

oh, and gl with the burn-in!

Burn in is no longer a issue and a 100K hour lifespan is ok with me, I will replace it before it dies with the "latest and greatest" thing anyway.

I would be more worried about the lifespan of your walmart TV

my roommate had a 50" plasma, but after playing final fantasy 7 for 30 min i had "Cloud" burned into his tv for a few hours.

and i work in electronics at walmart, i think i know whats a good tv oh, and its full 1080p. makes for a GREAT gaming monitor.

friend's dad just got the 55 inch vizio tv with built in wifi and 3d capability.

47" Vizio 1080p 120hz downstairs in the living room, and a 32" Vizio 1080p 120hz upstairs in the bedroom. BD player downstairs does WiFi, so I can stream Netflix to it down there and upstairs via my 360 Slim. Neither lags a beat, Dave. No clue what you're smoking if 120hz is laggy, but I'd like some too.

I dont know - I went to best buy this summer and saw a 3d TV in action. Holy crap! It was pretty cool, actually. Not sure I'd watch it for tv because those glasses hurt, but for playing games? WOW!
