HHrrrmmmmm...(this is related but not really) said girl and I have been talking about going to a dance club for the past 2-3 weeks. Not really my thing, but from what she was saying it sounded like there is a lack of bros and drunk Navy guys. Seemed like a good environment from the vibe I got. I finally look the place up today and find out that it is an unofficial gay bar. After hearing this I felt really hesitant to go, so I read a bunch of reviews. Apparently people there don't really assume one is gay, but outsiders will make this assumption. This is not me worrying about my image, this is me worrying about feeling really uncomfortable and out of place there. I really have no idea how thick the gay is. Would you guys give it a shot?

Gay bars really aren't that bad. The first time I went to one I was really overwhelmed, but once you've been once and you know what to expect it's cool.
Plus if you can go to a gay bar with a chick and be smooth about it, they really respect that.
