Wrong. If you go through a private adoption agency and are very picky, adoption is expensive. If you go through a non-profit or public agency and are not picky, its not expensive at all. There was a place in IL called "The Cradle" that we adopted two of my sisters from. Typically all they ask is for a donation to the agency. Bob Hope actually adopted kids from The Cradle.

Leaving Alaska today after 2 1/2 weeks of non-stop travel around this massive state, did a ton but so tired and ready to get back home.

Alaska has been hell on my camera equipment, I managed to lose a lens cap in a lake on boat tour, drop my 50mm and bust it in two and the last kick in the nuts came when I dropped my 70-200 on gravel a few days ago at Denali national park. Did managed to get some really nice pics though.

I plan on going through my pics on the airplane and picking out the good ones, ended with 35.6 GB of RAW images.

Not looking forward to the 7 1/2 hour flight since its overnight and I can never sleep on a airplane, not to mention getting back into houston right at traffic hour.

Oh ok I didn't realize that. That's not as bad, I didn't know they did that but it does make sense.

Ouch for the camera equipment, but I hear Alaska is simply beautiful. I would have used so much film.

I recently found my brother's old Canon Rebel with an 80mm lens and a 70-300mm lens, and I took it out to these falls on private property where people go to chill all the time. 3 1/2 rolls in one day. Granted one of my friends was kind of modeling for me, but she's a little camera shy so there was a lot of scenery too.

I need to get a digital that will work with those lenses (can't remember the brand), because film is expensive. A digital would pay for itself quickly, but I can't afford it.

If they are EF mount they will work with any Canon digital body.

Oh ya, great success. Roommates finally got fed up with me and kicked me out like I've been trying to do. Parties almost every night actually do work on my part.
