Apparently I was in the newspaper back in Joliet, IL today. There is a "25 Years Ago" section and it read something like "Josh Rose's Make-A-Wish trip to Kennedy Space Center". Hard to believe that was 25 years ago. I looked on Herald's news website but couldn't find anything.

Good thing you weren't quite as screwed as they thought you were. Not to say you life hasn't been hard, but they usually don't do those Make-A-Wish deals for people they think have a good chance.

Anybody with a terminal illness can do Make-A-Wish before they turn 18. My cousin had leukemia when he was 16, he went through Make-A-Wish and got a car from them. He has now been cancer free for 4 years. Cystic Fibrosis is most definitely terminal, actually life expectancy for a CF patient is 32 years old, I'll be 33 in August. At the time I did my Make-A-Wish I think life expectancy was some were around 18-20 years old, I was 7.

ive been to places that have what people consider "bad drivers" but florida drivers scare the **** out of me.

my girlfriend and I were driving through town and this truck decided to fly out of this intersection and stop in the middle of the road. there was no turning lane, just 2 going each way, and we were in the left lane on our side and the truck stopped right in the middle. the gf had to swerve into the other lane to avoid hitting it. not to mention EVERYONE around orlando goes 20+ over the speed limit, and they have toll booths every mile or so, and they like to slam on their brakes at the last minute.

Ft Worth/Dallas has some scary flipping interstate on/off ramps. Hell, most of them are both on ramps AND off ramps at the very same time, so you have one group of cars speeding up to get on the interstate and one group slowing down to get off the interstate, all in the same place - scary as hell! Especially when you have a car full of girls/women freaking out because of it - talk about nerve racking, lol!

Nobody in middle TN knows how to drive with any sense of urgency. Or sense at all. And God forbid there be anything but clear skies, or traffic will slow to a crawl in the panic of a bit of a sprinkle. Snow? Forget about anything you have to do that day.

That's how it is up here at Purdue, but part of it may be contributed to the good amount of international students who don't seem like theyre used to driving

I found truckers in TN to be very accommodating for cars which are dramatically over the speed limit after 4 in the morning.

I like the sound of the second exhaust much better, but it looks like it sticks out quite a bit further than the stock exhaust.
