Thanks, it has a few nicks and dings, but not too bad for a marker it's age. either way those will be pretty well gone after anodizing.. once I get cash for that..

Edit: New job has me working nights... so yes. I'm till up... on a day off. Good news though, finally gutted my MP3 collection. Been meaning to do that for a while. Went from about 15 gigs to about 7. Not bad.

Milling that body would be travesty! Once again I say, send it to me, even if its just the body, find another body that is not a Ripper 2.5 and mill that how you want it.

I'm only fixing the minor things that I feel leave it unfinished. Like there's still small bits of metal in the windows that aren't quite rounded, things like that (should have been taken aside and filed out properly when it was made, most of the 2.5s had this issue). I'm not dremelling it, or doing a hacksaw half block either, I'm sending it out for a professional to fix (thinking Doc's machine at the moment), then the gun is getting anodized.

At least it's only a 2.5, and not blasphemy like a 1.25, flame or Ripper 1. And hey, Vikings get milled all the time. At this point there are probably less unmilled Vikes than there are R2.5s total.

ugh, otterboxes suck. They make the phone enormous. I'm all about big phones (I want the galaxy note to come to verizon), but thick isn't my style. My roommates and I all have naked phones and insurance. If you claim a replacement as $600 (which is what verizon would make you pay) most insurance companies will allow you to insure it.




side note:

I completely removed ubuntu from all machines, They've always been too focused on UI, but now they're doing it at a cost of package usability. On to Fedora for my simple distros. Arch and Gentoo onboard untouched...

I'd rather not pay the 10 dollars a month through verizon, or 100 dollars to Apple if I can just put my phone in an otterbox. It's not that big IMO.

good job man! I lost 25lbs last semester but Ive plateaued since then. Dieting and exercising everyday is tough
