Honestly can't really tell you why I like it, other than the reason I just do. It's becoming a huge trendy fad now to have ears stretched but it really doesn't bother me because if I went with trends here, I'd be meth'd out. I just see it as something I can do to identify myself and show who I am. If that makes sense? It's 9:40 AM. I'm not fully awake.

In other news. Just got a new tattoo on my forearm and I'm going to go into a friends shop today and see about getting another piece done before I head back home to medford.

Today is my 18th birthday!! Yay!

In other news, my culinary class made crocodile potstickers, thanks to a local restaurant for showing us how to make it and supplying us the ingredients. Tasted so good (spicy) and have some leftover meat and we are planning on making some sliders with it.

I'm so glad I'm at college right now, a snow/ice storm is moving through. My dad texted and said the power's been out since about 8 tonight. The roads most likely suck too.

Tattoos are another thing I don't really get, to some extent. Some people get the most ridiculous looking crap, it just makes them look stupid. Personally, I want to get a few tattoos, but in places where they would be concealed with normal work attire. I have nothing against sleeve tattoos, or neck tattoos, or any of that. Just not for me.

What I don't get is the people that get senseless crap drawn on them. Symbols from other cultures, random shapes like stars. I mean, if I'm getting something that permanent done to my body, it is going to be something well thought out, that I know I'm not going to look back on one day and wonder why. That's why when I turned 18, I decided on a few things I might want. But I also said I'd wait until I turned 25 to get them. I'm 22, and already two of them have been ruled out. So if I can rule out 2/4 possibilities in 4 years, what am I going to think in ten more years?

Eh. My opinion is that not all tattoos need to have meaning. If you like it, get it. Plain as that.
