ugh, i feel like complete **** right now. my dad leaves me a voicemail while im at work to call him back. my dad and i never had the best relationship, so i know its serious, i call him when i get off work and he tells me that my grandpa passed away in his sleep yesterday. i guess the brain tumors finally got to him. i was taking it well until last night, and then i couldnt fall asleep. got about 4 hours of sleep and then this morning as soon as i got out of the shower my mom called me from germany to talk to me and i started feeling like crap again. i know theres no point in sitting around all day, but i really dont feel like going to work today though i need to.

thanks guys. on the bright side, my ex roommate and BFF since 7th grade randomly showed up at work today (she lives 3h away) and i wasted 45 minutes talking to her. really made my day.

Random visits from old friends are pretty awesome.

I will never forget how shell-shocked I was when I lost my grandfather. I was just a little kid, still in elementary school. I was the only one who didn't cry, because I simply went numb. It was my brother's birthday too...

losing loved ones sucks, it was only 2 years ago that my cousin died. it hurts but the pain goes away eventually. Just try to stay happy and have some fun with friends
