chopping

i have an 09 spyder pilot with eyes, and i have an electric hopper and ive also tryed my gravity hopper. but either one i have paintball chopping. and wanted to know if someone could give me some help. it makes you mad spending all that money on a nice gun and you cant even play a good game without having to be out because you cant shoot paint. someone please help than you

A. are your eyes on?
B. what kind of electric hopper?
C. what kind of paint are you using?
D. does it chop when you are shooting slow or just when you are shooting fast?

well most of the time i try to start out with my eyes turned on. the electric hopper is just one from walmart, everyone ive talked to said was ok. the paint i use is from mcsports. i can let you know specifics later when i get home

Try a stiffer shelled paint. Make sure its new and of decent quality. Dont let a few dollars difference a case ruin your game. Also make sure you always keep your eyes on. What are you chronoed at? make sure there isnt a bur or something jagged in the breach that could be shredding the paint.

what do you mean chronoed at? so how do you you know if the shell of the paint is of quality when you buy it at a store? and when i keep my eyes on and it starts chopping it wont shoot unless i turn them off. someone mentioned to me to take the spring out and compress it 1000 times would help. im just aggrevated because i want to start going to some local paintball tournaments but i dont want to get on a field and my gun not shoot, so any helpers from you are greatly appreciated. what kinda paint do you buy?

I use Draxxus rec sport, always treated me good. Clean your eyes and ensure that they are working. When somone told you to compress the spring thats if you have the ACS bolt.
Chronoed is how many FPS you are shooting at if you are shooting alot higher then you should be that could be causeing you problems too.

i dont think that it has a acs bolt, but im not sure how many fps it shoots, is there anyway to tell? i mean thats just the velocity right? so i could turn it down. and when i clean the gun i always clean the eyes off with a q-tip. so idk what all i could do i just know i want to play in a couple tournaments but know my gun must not be ready.

go to a pb feild they all have chronos. are you sure your eyes are working does the marker have a led that changes color when a ball is in the breach?

no it doesnt have an led, but im sure the eyes are working because, when it starts chopping paint and there is paint down in the barrell it wont shoot because the eyes wont let it because its covered in paint
