Default $10 project

This will be in a quick story format.

Saw this for sale on pbnation for $10, I bought it.

Nasty spray paint job, and said it was leaking. So I take it apart.

Yup, there's your leaking problem.

Seriously, clean your gear.

Sanding time!

Getting closer to done.

Gotta polish the internals too you know!

Continued....

While in Florida time to make a stock! Scroll saw, dremel, laser table saw... First time for everything!

Put-it-together time!

Done

Yeah the blue that you can see still on there, just ignore it, it's gonna be gone

Another Spyder saved from the trash. Yes, I do take pride in that. Lol.

Thanks for looking

What is it that keeps drawing me back to buying a Spyder when I can buy any other gun of my choice?!?

Dude, that is sick! That is the true spirit in a Spyder, they are never useless! When I saw the first pictures I really did doubt for a while that it would turn out any better then passable. But seriously man, nice work!

I kinda want to go do that now. Good find on that trigger frame though. Those "Classic" Spyder single trigger frames are hard to come by today. I had one on my MR1. Very nice feel for a milsim. Looks like the beginning of a Dragonov maybe?

32", stock is 16" barrel is 12". Stock turned out to be about an inch or too longer then perfect for me, but it's still very comfortable.
