ok played with it today I think it is a q loader issue. Looks like I have to shorten my feed hose because I think it is the next ball that is slightly in the way of the bolt. I was getting some double feeds.

Would a double feed from the q loader be because of the house being not the right length?

Or is that the detent not being strong enough to keep on ball in the barrel?

I'm betting it's the amount of pre-winds or a small bore of paint if that's the case. The hose length will not affect the marker's end of things so long as it isn't kinked. If the hose length was wrong you'd be crushing balls on the Q-Loader end.
