So i spent $25 dollars on this barrel?
I went to splatter paintball today and picked up a Opsgear barrel 18 inch. They say it will work on my Spyder (i trust these guys alot)I get home and find the Opsgear website and it says the barrel is for an A5. can i use this on my TL-Plus? it threads into it securely but seems to be angled ever so slightly upward compared to the rest of the gun. I will test fire tomorrow and will find out then i guess. just wanted some input. here is the website

ive heard of occasions where it works, but if it doesnt go straight in, i wouldnt force it...

no force required just felt loose til i bottomed the thread length out. it looks cool. wish i could find my good camera. bettin its loud as heck though.

If it screws in, but is loose, see if you can put an oring on it (or a larger one, if it already has one. Or two!) That might help to tighten it up.

well i put it on and tested it. in less than ideal conditions i must say. it was about 30 degrees maybe 35 outside with a 20mph crosswind. It added some great distance and was not as loud as i thought it would be. i put maybe 75-100 yards between me and some tires and was within a couple inches everytime. i think im gonna try to make my TL Plus into a sniper setup. just in time for I-40 paintball's woodsball/scenario tryouts.

add an o-ring in front of the threads...and i've never heard of a5 threads working on a spyder, but never tried it either...
