also if you havent read up on the diode mod, is easy and cheap to do, and dont get a bov, and install a boost gauge< it will help you when you tune it

I plan on getting a blow off valve, but only after I upgrade to a bigger turbo and bigger intercooler. Until then I think I'm gonna leave it alone. The Diode Mod sounds cool.

I always had a place in my heart for Golf's. My bro had an old one. That thing was a fun car. Not as fast or as much torque as his Gen 1 & 2 DSM's, but it was fun. Can't wait to see what you're going to do with it.

see the thing is that a bov doesnt really do much, it might make your car run rich, if you just want it for the sound get a ram intake, the stock dv is fine

The sound of a BOV is nothing like the sound from an intake. I'm doing my research, in the end I will do whats best for the over all performance.

A good turbo with a BOV sounds pretty beastly.

I plan on making a lot more power, but not anytime soon. That will only happen when I can afford a second car and the GTI can be just a weekend car.
