New Ride
I've been pretty disappointed with my Civic, almost since I bought it. I've really wanted to get rid of it and get an Audi A4 or a VW GTI for a while but since I don't have a job, I've been waiting. I was discussing this with a friend and they said "Just get rid of the Civic!" Since I had quite a bit of equity in my Civic, I started thinking "Yeah, why don't I just get rid of it and buy something out right." This was Monday, Tuesday, I took the HIDs and CAI out of my Civic. Wednesday I got this:
     2002 Volkswagen GTI, Rave Green, 5spd (really wanted a 6spd but they only come in the 337/20th Anniversary GTI and GLI and I can't afford one of those), Tan Leather, power everything, heated seats, heated mirrors, sun roof, lots of good stuff. The car is very fun to drive, 1.8L, turbo charged, 180hp. Needs some TLC on the interior but everything else is in great shape. The best part is I no longer have a car payment and didn't have to put any money out for this car. Plans are already churning for stuff like wheels, lowering, engine mods, stereo, ect.... I am very happy

Awesome buddy. Welcome to the VW family. Enjoy those heated seats and mirrors, you WILL need them.

ugly color imo, not a bad lookin ride otherwise. lol'd at the heated seats and mirrors in Arizona

nice. are your HIDs from the civic gonna fit in the the VW? if not, what are the plugs

Boosted cars FTW!!
Ditch the wheels. Get a better flowing filter/intake tubing (I'm sure it's plastic from factory) then find out what's the boost set at then figure out how to bump it up (after you get exhaust to match it)! Nice! JB.

Nice, has me thinking about getting rid of my Civic too, despite my Dad's teachings (which still have me afraid of German cars + Chevies, despite the fact that I work on all brands).
Someday..

Slam that thing to the ground, and put some super wide wheels on it. My boy Brian has one dope dope Jazz Blue 20th AE GTI.
