the lowest ISO is 100, then 200, 400, and 800 (only if you turn the pic size down to 1.7 MP). I usually have it set to 100, mayb 200 once in awhile.

Don't like the abstract at all. The vignetted one looks good. I might just steal that bridge one someday and make a logo with it. Lake looks good. Frog and fly are OOF, so make sure to get it focused properly before clicking. The fly very well could have been just inside of your MFD, so you can back the camera up a little bit and crop later if that's the case.
Nice set. You're improving, young grass-hoppah! ![]()

thanks. i'm confused about "OOF" and "MFD". idk what those mean. the only problem with the vignetted one is that i took it from an angle, and it looks crooked. i didn't have it on "close-up" mode for the frog, and prolly not the bug either, so that's prolly why they aren'y sharp. I'm thinking about putting the bench one on EasyShare and brightening it up a little. thanks Red!

OOF = Out Of Focus.
MFD = Minimum Focusing Distance (from the plane of the sensor to the object, usually is noted on the lens). Do you mean the first one with the bench and the fountain, or the second one with a bench and the lake? They both look properly exposed to me.

the one with the bench and the fountain. i'm debating on whether to edit it again or not.
about MFD: on my lens is says... 39mm-117mm. would 39mm be the MFD?

I think it looks fine. To me, it looks like the PP or hosting compressed the image, but other than that it looks like it's just fine.
Does it say 35mm equivalent for that? That's the focal length of the lens.

Ok, that's a pretty decent range. The thing with the compact cameras like that is that the sensor is so small that it only sees the center of the projected image from the lens. Because of this, it translates into a "crop factor" range in mm, or an equivalent of a 35mm film camera's lens.
