What Kodak model do you have?
I like the first guitar pic, but that's about it. For the flower ones, refer to this post: http://dearphotographer.com/blog/21/

It's a Kodak Easyshare Z760.
And I did kinda go overboard on the flowers. i just needed some practice workin with modes and settings, shooting @ different angles, etc. I just took the first thing I saw. I plan on taking less flower pictures and more of other stuff once i tap into my vein of inspiration.

Not a bad P&S. Try buildings, random people on the street, fences, machinery, and anything else you see. Just mix it up and go on a walk.

edit: I think I know why some of them are grainy. I don't think i adjusted the ISO on some of the shots for some reason

Grainy is called "Noise". That's usually when your ISO is up past 1600 and your camera can't handle it.
I'm going to be honest, and don't take this the wrong way, it's meant with all due respect. The photos are either over exposed, under exposed, out of frame too much or not at the right angle. As a suggestion, I'd take a look at some flower shots and see how people do them. Not bad on the guitar though. Also not bad for a P&S.

P&S's usually have a maximum USABLE ISO of about 200. I'd keep it below ISO 100 if I had a P&S.
