You don't need the expansion chamber. You can connect the line directly into the VA. You can get yourself the ASA screw-in connector from a remote and screw that into the VA and the 1/8" NPT connector of the line will screw directly into that. The bottle can be directly hung from the bottom of the rifle stock by brackets. In the 80's they had a pressure connector you could hook up directly to the bottle with an on/off knob w/a q/d attached. Or maybe you can put the q/d directly into the VA and have a BL ASA w/a shutoff screwed directly to the bottle. That way you can shut the pressure off then disconnect the line from the VA when you need a fill. There was an old stocked rifle by PMI and people had a similar setup to the adapted(very rough looking) pic I made here -
![]() I have some old APG's maybe I can get you an actual shot of it and post a pic for you. Let me just say it's gonna be very heavy to say the least especially w/a full hopper -

![]() ![]() Couple of random/blurry pics but they give you the general idea. Those old on/off's are obsolite now. A lot more bulky than what's available now. All you really need to do is purchase a remote line and everything you'll need is on that. I got one here in the b/s/t for $10. Use the ends to hook to the bottle and VA ASA. You'll need the on/off end(I'd put a 90* fitting on it like the top pic to direct the line towards the VA rather than coming straight out the side) to hook to the bottle and the other end straight into the VA ASA -

Ya that's the right piece but you need the other end with the on/off as well. Remote in b/s/t b/s/t b/s/t b/s/t b/s/t b/s/t b/s/t b/s/t b/s/t b/s/t b/s/t!!!
They make Tippy-to & SP-to Spyder adapters but not the other way around to my knowledge -
