Not if you use HPA. It is recommended if you're going to use Co2. I recommend using anti-siphon any time you're using Co2, but that's just personal preference.

ooooo yea especially if you're going full auto...it freezes like a mother. I've got an anti-siphon and for $15 it's great. I would definitely recommend getting one.

it doesnt hurt it.... spyders are designed to run off of co2, but yes HPA is a diffenately good.

o and your gun wont "freeze up" with normal co2, velocitys may not be spot on, but it will work fine for a begginer, also dont mess with anti-siphon tanks, just go straight to HPA, its worth the small investment. 48/3000 tanks can be found for like 50-60 bucks brand new or used and they will give about 500 shots.

Bah, you might freeze up, but if you play above 50* you should be fine, my imagine runs fine on co2, my brothers mongoose, and another friends pilot, yo don't need an antisipho, though they are nice, I'd stick with what you've got.

Actually .. i don't think it's a personal preference issue... It's really .. if you have it it's better than not having it ... so it's a performance issue.

This pretty much just keeps the psi a little more consistant .. and the liquid co2 will not get into your gun ... although .. if it's not installed correctly .. it could become a siphon tube ... (not good)

You will still have psi fluctsations since .. it's co2 .. and co2's just .. unreliable ... Though it is true that you will get better efficiency in warmer weather



BTW ... HPA is a lot better for your gun and a lot more consistent .. but i would recommend getting a bigger sized tank than a 48/3k tank ... even a 72/3k tank would help for starters ... besides it's a good price new
