Default okay so I said I was finished my MR2...
I might have changed my mind....



I used GIMP to show what the new shroud is going to look like... I've got a couple of quote requests for a prototype from a couple of machine shops here.
If it doesn't work out locally, I'll contact UMS for a quote as I really liked the MKII short rail I got from him (on my A5). I'm trying to get as generic a shroud as possible to accomodate all the different attachments one might want on it. Weaver/Pica rails on sides and bottom for grips, Q-loaders, lasers, etc...

I've got a top rail (G36 ish) and fake mag kit (M16 mag) in the works too.

Yeah, I was going to use the OPSgear one (A5 or C98) but they don't make it any more (??!??!!?) I can't find a dealer that has one in stock, they only have the one with the front shroud for the A5, which is a tad short.

I'll see what UMS says (I don't think he works Sundays... )

let us know on the forend thing too...I am going to be making one myself...(custom design)

also, do you use a plastic elbow for your hopper? you should change to the locking feedneck, escept it blocks half the top rail...

aren't you lucky... i run a ricochet hopper (not sure which one, i have to find it to find out)...but it works well...sux that ricochet went out though, but lucky you can still find 'em...
