ive read ALOT of posts in the time ive been on the forum and cant seem to figure out why every1 has such a chopping problem. i got my pilot acs used off ebay. kinda got ripped but not to bad. it came without a acs bolt just has a norm rear coking bolt. i removed the little fin thing from the inside of the bolt lubbed all the rings and threw a co2 tank to it. ive gone threw more then 2 boxxes of paint and have still to chop a ball. now on full auto i do get miss fires "no ball" shot due to a grav hopper but other then that have yet to chop a ball. am i doing something wrong? have i done something right? do i not play hard enough? if anyone has a explination to this id love to have it. i use the pink and yellow vis impact balls a 20oz co2 tank no gauges just kinda what came from the factory.

If you do not have an ACS bolt, than you are not going to have the problem that those with it have had. Generally, the ACS bolts have issues due to the spring not being broken in sufficiently before using it.

You said what you have, a non-ASC rear-cocking bolt. Anyone can take a rear cocking bolt and throw it into their ACS equipped gun and be done, or, they can break in the ACS bolt and be done. It's the people who slack off and do it halfway or don't bother to break it in at all who have problems.

When it's easy to compress or whenever you get bored.
