Spyder found at local pawn shop

when vike first started playing, he went to a pawn shop and bought a used mech spyder for $200

Nope, sure didn't have a clue. All I knew was that it was several years ago, it was VERY pretty (the blue old-style sonix, not the new style. That came out much later...), very cool looking and that around here, no one else had anything like it. They all used tippys...Then, I found this site and realized that I could have bought one brand new for about 50-100.00.

I actually debated it for a few days before buying it. However, that guy had my number for sure. That was just the beginning of my long, expensive dive into the murky depths of paintball. But, had I not gotten it, then the "Super Sonix" wouldn't have been created, followed by the pump spyder. So, technically, although I bought it for 200.00 (with a free plastic feedneck adapter that I made him throw in ) it had three reincarnations in the past several years. That evens out the price...

cool... i may pick it up tomorrow when i go on my slot car rejuvination mission. (i have a vintage car and want to see if it even works). Thats if the pawn shop has yet to sell it.

all right.....giggity giggity giggity.....so my wife said okay to buying the Xtra. Huah!!!! I plopped down a whopping 27 bucks for said marker. With a 12 oz tank. So tomorrow, well today seeing as its 0531 i wil take it to splatter for a good once over and chrono. Sunday, sadly will be my last game of paintball in oklahoma, it will be a back yard family fight to the death, kinda. We will have 6 markers and players on hand, Spyder Imagine,Victor,Xtra and TL plus,an Icon X, and some kind of wierd brass eagle will take to the field as we throw some paint 'round the tool sheds.

ok so... after spending an extra 25 dollars at splatter to get its o rings replaced, a new hopper and feed neck it is chronod to 275 and ready. nice blue hopper too. pictures in the picture section
