BT 16 Apex barrel

hey how good are apex barrels because i was lookin at this barrel right here because its a great price and stuff but how good is it?
and would i be able to take the apex thing completely off the barrel?

i don't own the apex but according to big red, all the barrels that come with the apex ( all the barrels made by bt) are ****. your best bet is to get a J&J, or a lapco. on the barrels make sure it says apex ready. then buy the apex tip alone, and an m4 shroud that fits the barrel you got. good luck

the apex works, it just takes a bit getting used to.

Apex works great everyone I recomend them to loves them and I have never heard one person say they regreted getting it. However the apex tip is sooooo much more better on an aftermarket barrel.

As for Red, hes a dork dont listin to him

i, personally, think Apex barrels are cheating because they cause the ball to go around the bunker. BUT, its technically not cheating. i dnt believe theres a rule against it. i wuld suggest a j&j or smart parts for a barrel instead

Yes I ran with the J&J and Apex and loved it. For that price though get that M-16 Apex Thats a steel and you can then take off all the extas and put them on what ever other barrel you get.

deffinatly agree, the apex is ALOT better on an aftermarket barrel.

The accuracy is all in the honing of the barrel, and BT probably doesn't even bother with it. They're just like stock barrels: rolled pieces of aluminium with the edges smoothed out.
