The wealth of knowledge is more concise here on SPYDER related issues.
The community is probably tighter here, but KOT has a very colorful history on pbnation.

I use to think PbNation was awful, but it really isn't as bad as everyone says it is. And I've heard they have the coolest mods over there.

I'm sorry but PbN is almost useless to me. The only reason that I go there at all is to research some item or part. Even then, they have a totally random organization where some things are at the bottom of some "ultimate sticky" where half the answers I need are not included, and the other half are so simplistic that they're useless. I can find out better information, faster elsewhere 9 times out of ten.

Regardless of who the mods might be, (no offense guys) 10,000 asshats do not make a community, even if there are a handful of good guys hidden in there.

When SOC was hoppin', it was fun. But now it's just boring when compared to PBN. The GDT in the section I moderate has more posts in 3 hours than this forum has in a day.

Because people say there's so many idiots over there, and people just regurgitate what they hear. There aren't all the idiots over there like people say. I've been posting there for 7 years, 3 of those I've been an ASM and never have I run into the idiots people claim are there. With all the guns I've owned, I've been in almost every forum other than the lower end gun forums, the regional forums, team forums, noob forums, BST...everywhere and I don't run into these people. I think people look for stupid topics and click on the threads, then get mad when they see idiots posting. Don't click on stupid threads, problems solved.

honestly, i like SOC cause everythings right there, and wen i post a question, it gets answered quickly by people who know what they're talking about ( red, shady..) and there are no bull ****ters here because they get banned real quick.

but the thing that makes SOC so much better is there aren't too many people, otherwise it would be no different from pbn. an example would be a realy nice tropical island. it starts nice, but then people start coming more and more to see how nice it looks, so they put down hotels, airports, stores etc. eventually, the beauty disappears. the more people enjoy things, they start to deteriorate

in some ways its nice SOC is a little slower (It would be nice if it picked up a little though) you can come home from work and see everything that has happened and help whith the ones you can. If there was alot of threads you either pick and choose who you want to help. I like SOC alot better
